Hey! The question is in the title, but I'll clarify: how can I upconvert a WotLK .m2 to Cata?

Would be nice to have some kind of guide on editing/making spells btw. Especially nice if it was for cata, but I doubt anyone is gonna do it, unless cata spell.dbc is same as e.g. WoD.

Will this work for Cata?

Maybe not easier, but more useful, because 1)there are 18 models to be changed, against around 20000 textures to be changed 2)after you've changed the model, you can apply any baked npc texture blizz release without having to change the texture.
