  1. That was what i did, but it is still not so easy to find out which texture on which slot. I looked on the waterelemental and gave up xD. The information that just files inside the folder are used, make me feel a bit reassured .
  2. He have this issue That elemental earth have one Creatureskin1 and six harcoded textures. All for particels and maybe some effects. I make it work in wotlk with try and error. I looked in the particles tab an search for the texture slot. Than i try which texture could it be. But i hoped that i can see anywhere which slot has which texture.
  3. but how i find out which file id is which texture, maybe there is already the answer but i have not the dev power sorry ^^
  4. Uff so so technical The hardcoded are my problem here, how i see which TXID is for which texture? I have for example, 4 texture slots , slot zero is creatureskin1 , slot one and two are a hardcoded textur and for me complete empty. And slot 3 is creatureskin2. How i can now find out what textues are in slot one and two?
  5. In some new models , like the new earth elementar, are no hardcoded textures anymore. There just this new "TxId", i saw that on wow dev but i have no idea how to find out on which place a special texture should be. Is there a way to find it out? Any new dbc? I made this with try and error but uff that need alot time and the result could be wrong.

  7. You also need the correct blp format (palettized , no alpha) and the upper part of the face. Lower normal format 256*128 in your case it should be 128*64 Upper normal format 256*64 in your case it should be 128*32
  8. Goblins before cata have no faces. So you cant find them. What we see here are the faces of the races that u switch. This explaine also the missing head parts on some . Wow still think it use the old model and make something invisible that should be invisible on the old. You could now edit the charsection.dbc or make alot of new blp´s or you edit the model that there is just one hardcoded texture.
  9. Maybe a bad idea to start with it, but i still have to do it . If not, all emotes end in fucked up model and crash. But as i write this, i see it was a dumb idea because, .anim just have emotes and not stand or walk.. ^^ Anyway i had here and there the issue that the model playbackspeed is wrong. And rly rar that the play length was wrong. I try around on the length and use mostly 150 at speed. Or maybe it is a problem with the "next animation" hard to say. Just some ideas. At last dont forget this are beta files and some have still alot of issue.
  10. You fix the stuff in the .anim file with the 8 byte? If yes it is maybe something in m2 with the playbackspeed or anything else there?!
  11. Only thing if this is for wotlk care about the tris count(21845 max) your file was alot over it. But im dont think that this is the main problem here. Maybe something with the converter/amature idk.
  12. Hm then the bone option. i think the bones just for the different holding positions. Find out which one is near the blade and give him a new position in the template not in blender^^.
  13. Hm i would edit the attachment( i have no idea which one) and the float position of it, or one of the bones what could be harder.

  15. I try it with the scaled model and ofc it not disappear, get it. And yes it is not the same like the strider, ofc not . A real shame ^^. But thx for your explanation. With this info i can prevent frustration on other things xD.
  16. Oh ok so if i scale it down , that it is ~ as big as the old model, it should not flicker?
  17. What you mean with " If the model isn't referenced in every chunk " . Referenced to what?^^ (sorry if im a bit stupid i just dont get it) But just again the model is visible but if i have the camera on rnd position the whole thing will disappear. And i have exact the same issue on the mecha strider, but here sit a character on it and it dissapear too. I was hoping that i see what is the problem on this simple model, but so much tree´s and i cant find the forest .
  18. I think we have here still a missunderstanding^^. i use the original waterfall and convert it to wotlk, then i replace the raceflag in 1000k needle with the waterfall and go into the game. i was never in noggit or edit anything there^^
  19. Hmpf i dont get it why i have still this issue. With your file and new converted. I do nothing in noggit but it happends. Anyway thx for the info^^
  20. after this the m2 is other than before? i never work on this way with noggit so idk , and if it is could you send it again that i can compare ^^?
  21. Ah ok ,so you mean this ^^. Ya but i convert it new from retail and replace just another model. So i have here no custom maps or make any noggit work.
  22. Sorry forgot to say this, this screen is not in noggit it is in game. In noggt 3.1.021 it looks so that it not disappear, just in game. :<
  23. Are you sure? Why my strider diessapear if other mounts not, this waterfall just dissapear on special kamera views like my stirder. it feels here realy the same^^. I try to load it on a flat area and it still happens. Also i try complete new convert the file and still it happend :< ANd if im still wrong and it is the wmo what could i do^^
