Yeah, I gave it to him for testing. Basically first thing produced by your tool, Koward You can probably do this shaping in Mudbox or software like that which allows more complicated work with terrain specific brushes. Since we managed to get direct 3D data import from OBJ, no quality will get lost. Now we don't need tools like FractalWoW to port things.

First experience of using the tool?
  3. https://mega.nz/#F!9tkl0QoR!yjyRncXyQUhlzbOoR7zNxA Try getting the one for your version from there. I took that link from Ownedcore from a guy known as jh16.
  4. Go to WoWModelViewer, search "totem". Find the one you want to replace, copy ErrorCube.m2 along with .skin files. Rename them all to the name of the totem model. Though, it won't reduce your FPS in any way probably.

    FractalWoW by Morfium

Very useful release. I have a better version of it. This version and this template contains all 4 texture layers filled which comes in handy for alphamapping. Please, update the version. FractalWoW.zip

Speaking about texture layers... I used to have a version of FractalWoW that was able to work with usual adt template. Also would be nice if you could make a tutorial on how to make those heightmaps and stuff, full process except alphamaps. And, yeah, looks pretty good.
  7. Have a look at beginner's tutorial section.
  8. You just posted a link. Fileinfo/Loadinfo. That's it.
  9. What I showed in the picture above is quite suitable imo, I just don't know how to merge the models properly, since I have no modelling experience and my arms grow from my ass. Everyone in the film just calls him Jones. His full name must be either David or just Davy. Your problem is rigging the model you can make out of pieces of those creatures. The issue is that you can't merge animations from different parts of the body. You have to use an entire skeleton from a model. Just one set of animations available in one particular model. Modelling itself just requires fucking around in Blender or any other tool you prefer.
  10. I can't help you much with the rest. If you don't find anything suitable in WoW, I suggest again looking at those Pirates of the Carribbean Corsairs mods. Also I have just realized that Davy Jones full name is probably Dave
  11. Ughh. I see you are doing some Pirates of The Caribbean thing. You know what... Davy Jones as far as I remember from the movie walks really peculiar because of the wooden leg (he has one, right?). And all those crab claws and tentacles. You know what, have a look at Faceless or whatever they are called in English WoW (Безликие) but even if the skeleton fits tentacles and crab claws, the missing leg will still be a problem. I remember there was a good series of pirate themed games - Corsairs made by some Russian studio. I actually played them long ago and I remember there was a fan-made mod dedicated to Pirates of the Carribbean setting with pretty good Davy Jones model. So, maybe you will find a way to convert it to Warcraft III .MDX and then to .M2.
  12. Yeah, as far as I remember, Alastor had a tutorial on his youtube channel about converting wmos to m2s. That will do the job for collision.
  13. Say thanks to Cromon and other people. I was just the one who started bitching about the problem here and there.
  14. I wish you good luck with your store and also good income. Speaking about the money, I can tell about my amazing experience using PayPal. People can send you money in whatever currency, but you will receive them in your national currency depending on today's exchange rate. Then you can trasnfer them to your bank account within 4-5 days or buy something online immediately. Anyway, I saw the accident on Mocraft and I want to assure you that these kind of rules won't be applied here unless we have some serious reasons for it. All guys in the team are fine with people receiving money for their work and also it is totally fine if you link some external resource to show something that is not here.
  15. Well, firstly, WMV will crash if you try to view a .wmo. Secondly, at least that's how it is for me, noggit has to be restarted in order to recognise the changes to the file you are importing from. Why would WMV crash on WMOs?
  16. Hello, Model Changing community. Since a few weeks ago many people started experiencing weird problems with most cmd-based software that is used in WoW modding. The issue only appears for Windows 10 users who updated their systems up to KB3116908 update. The cause of the problem is cygwin1.dll located in the folder along with the tool. It is outdated and is no longer relevant to new Windows standarts, so please download it from here and replace. I will replace the DLLs in WoWDevKit soon. For people encountering this bug in the future: If one of your tools creates multiple processes on launch until your PC freezes and goes out of memory, try doing what I said here. Big thanks to Cromon and everyone else who helped out figuring out this issue. Big shame on Microsoft Support for sending me to check my system for viruses and doing System File Scan. Happy modding, everyone.
  17. That's cool but why do you need import.txt? Why not just use WMV connected to your Noggit and use it to pick necessary models and spawn them.
  18. I also thought you did but I couldn't find it anywhere Beginner's tutorial.
  19. I can offer you nothing but doing it carefully. It requires a certain skill. I got used to it, so should you.
  20. One click - one hole. Don't press shitloads of times, be careful. Everytime you hit the emptiness with the hole tool, it creates one hole somewhere.
  21. All credits belong to Allifeur. It is a part of his April's fool level design tutorial.
  22. Culling of Stratholme? Just look all of them in WMV, what's the issue?
  23. That's where I went "oh..." About that.... just imagine what would happen if we have something like this in the banner:
