  1. It's unethical, but so is the way you treated Dread and several players of RPH. It's a classic 'play stupid games, win stupid prizes' situation, Chase. And if you think I haven't been robbed of anything before simply because my video game addon wasn't adapted to another server and used without 100% crediting me after I badgered them, then you're just being silly.
  2. An adaptation is not required to credit an author, no. It's usually a courtesy, and given the insane way you hounded Dread day after day until, during, and after your ban it's not surprising you're not credited for any adaptations.
  3. It doesn't need to be really. If you want to get into the semantics of stealing work, then you would know how an adaptation, however minor, makes that complaint useless.
  4. 'Rewrote completely' is subjective. Not to mention your Quick Join addon does not function the same on RPH as RPH changed it to include phases, which Paragon does not have.
  5. If they're the same addon (which they are with simple updates) it doesn't matter, really. You don't really have the balls to admit it but this is just you being mad at Dread for never giving you the attention you wanted.
  6. You made the addon for the server and they continued to use it after you were banned for how often you would badger, stalk, and continuously hound people in and out of the game. You've dedicated so much of your energy to this beef that it's almost pathetic, really, and I think most people in this community would agree. I also want to take this time to apologize on Chase's behalf and on ours. I'm sure this community doesn't care, for the most part, about this drama between Chase and Dread. At the end of the day, that's really what this boils down to. EDIT: The other patch creator Chase is alluding to, Monty, was banned for repeatedly banning players for not following new rules before they had the chance to read them. There was also other private blowout between them and Dread regarding the server's DB, just to make sure he's not confusing people there.
  7. Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself as a long time observer and coworker/brief colleague of Chase; For all intents and purposes, you can call me Peter Butts. I should start off this clarification by pointing out that Chase is certifiably insane. This man has been pulling legs and pointing fingers since his sticky fingers conceived his first encounters on WoW, circa 2010. This man soon became an invested stalker in most people he came in contact with - including, but not limited to, male Worgen Roleplayers. Chase is notorious, as you can see he himself alludes to, for bothering people who don't want to talk to him. This became apparent in a few players, but one in particular was a player of Dread's server (no longer there unfortunately), who I will call Ryan Nuts for the sake of protecting his identity. Mr. Nuts was a prominent roleplayer and well respected member of the community and played a Worgen mage character; Chase respected him, as well, and soon became infatuated with him. Ryan Nuts reports that Chase repeatedly messaged him both in game and on Skype, badgering him (even after repeated warnings and clarifications that he was not interested) to invest in a homo-erotic relationship with him. Later on, Chase would soon become interested in making a modification for Roleplay Heaven known as the RPHhelper - yes, Chase is the person who made RPHHelper. The topic in which he made it for a previously outdated version of Roleplay Heaven can be found on their forums, the topic still undeleted. The original addon was made with intent for RPH and its playerbase. This addon was successful to the point where even staff members such as Goudy and Dread tipped their hats to our furry frump friend here. But, even he admitted that! You think, your eyes alight with wonder. And he's right, he did admit that. But, no one fucking cares. Chase was not banned for suggesting there be two developers. Chase was banned for repeatedly badgering the server owner because he wouldn't get what he wanted. Dread is not a person who answers his Skype very often and even his Forum inbox goes unattended for days at a time. But, instead of recognizing that, our fanny fasting faggot took it much too personally. Players recalled several events where Chase would belligerently head to our global chat channel and begin taking out his anger towards Father Dread and Uncle Goudy on hapless, irrelevant members of the community. It should be noted, further, that "11 months after he's been banned," Chase is still trying to contact Dread to this day, hoping to escape the terrifying limbo that is Paragon.
