Hiya,

For a very long time I've always wanted to build my own wow server.
My own idea of what would be a great concept to play.

The project I've been having in mind is rather large and will always be something I can work on,

I don't mind that at all. Apart from that fact that having to work with other people usually means having to pay them and I can't affort that, I don't mind doing all the work, even if it takes much longer than needed.

The real problem is however is that when I'm stuck or I don't know what my next move should be I tend to get discouraged.
That's why I am wondering if there someone out there who doesn't mind mentoring me.
Pretty much means giving me advice and when I'm stuck on a problem, explaining some stuff and help work a way around it.
Working on the project itself it not oblicated at all.

I would prefere someone who doesn't mind chatting on skype.

Everything things you need in a mentor is findable here, the community is here to help, give advices, do some stuff, imo you don't really need a mentor, you have to post here when you need help and we surely help you !

I'm fully aware that everything is findable here and everyone is willing to help.

However alot of things on here are things I don't understand yet and I would still prefer to have someone to talk to one on one instead of making threads and gravedigging every 20 seconds.

Shoutbox is a great tool for such purpouses. However, you may always add me on Skype (striker159753). Just keep on mind that I work only with 3.3.5a and that I am not a core developer. I know a thing or two about programming, but sadly, only in C#, not in C++. My knowledge about porting or retro-porting 3D models to WoW is also quite limited.

The questions I have are pretty basic I assume and don't worrie Ill still use the website and shoutbox but it would just be nicer to talk to someone directly aswell.
