Basically, what I have done with this model is to attach the horns from the Lightforged model and bind them to the existing draenei_hd armature and transfer the weights from relevant vertex groups. Everything seems to work in-game up until you decide to play any animations. http://i.imgur.com/uqphXpg.gifv If anyone has any experience with this sort of thing, or has encountered similar before I would be very appreciative of some help. iPlantPlants Posted July 8, 2017 Author Share Posted July 8, 2017 Thank you for your response, Wungasaurus. Yes, the same issue happens with Draenei males, but to a lesser extent. Sitting down and pointing do not produce any deformities, whereas dancing, talking, and everything else does. wungasaurus Posted July 8, 2017 Share Posted July 8, 2017 That confirms my suspicion and means you're fucked for now: last build added .skel files for m2s and started with Draenei. Those files are entirely unknown currently so you will have to investigate yourself. Please add anything you find to https://wowdev.wiki/M2/.skel though. Would this outcome still be the case even if the Draenei model is taken from an earlier version of WoW (7.0.3, 7.1.0), and attach the horns that way? Roccus Posted July 8, 2017 Share Posted July 8, 2017 Yes i found this too, i tried using draeneimale from 7.3 as a base armature to make an equipable HD broken character and i had the same issue of animation on 7.2 and then i saw that new .skel file. Except that i got animation problem for every emote that way. i'll try to investigate skel file too but i'm not good at those kind of thing. As i see on the .skel page of wowdev. i can suggest to begin with to swap BFID and AFID in both M2 and .skel with the BFID and AFID of prior version of draenei.
